I have left a good amount of the naked raku chips on this piece. They can be removed to reveal the smoked surface underneath or they can stay on there forever. I do expect the copper lines to oxidize overtime. A nice green patina might develop! This is a Stoneware wheel thrown vessel intended for decorative purpose only, will absorb water.
